About SN-Announce	English (USA)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Guidelines for submitting announcements and job advertisements to SN-Announce All announcements must be forwarded to: sn-announce@sangonet.org.za Make sure that your announcement or advertisement is no longer than one page (300 to 400 words); The announcement or advertisement should be contained in the body of the e-mail; Make sure that your announcement or advertisement has a short, but descriptive heading/subject line; Make sure that important information is included, such as the date of an event or deadline for applications, a contact person, and a contact e-mail address and telephone number; Do NOT send attachments or text with HTML formatting; Make sure that your e-mail application is set to send 'plain text' messages and NOT HTML messages; Announcements and advertisements received before 2 pm on any working day will be sent out on the same day. Submissions made after 2 pm may have to be carried over to the following working day. What does it cost to send an announcement? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Non-profit organisations can post an announcement for a mere R550 (Excl. VAT) and for-profit organisations R650 (Excl. VAT). You can repeat an announcement for R150 (excl. VAT) per repeat. Using SN-Announce
To post a message to all the list members, send email to sn-announce@lists.sn.apc.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to SN-Announce
Subscribe to SN-Announce by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
