tomorrow sees the start of the inaugural PHOTO & FILM EXPO event at the
Coca-Cola Dome! This event has been much anticipated within both the
photographic and film communities and promises to make strides towards uniting
all sectors of the industries and exposing them to the general public. With
over 75 exhibitors and numerous retail centres all offering show specials you
can expect things are going to get quite busy so be sure to allocate yourself
enough time to explore. Show times are from 9am till 9pm Friday and Saturday
(ticket sales end at 7pm) and until 7pm on Sunday (ticket sales end at 5pm).
Get there early on Friday to qualify for the limited "weekend
special" which gives a reduced rate for all three days and collect your
"goodie bag".<br /><br /></span></span>

Photographic and Illuminate Photographic Lighting Workshops will both be
offering free photography workshops to visitors of the event.</span></span></p>

photographic make-over at the Face to Face Make-up School stand and see live
airbrush bodypainting performed by Airvolution Designs.</span></span></p>

Nikon cameras in for a free sensor, lens and camera clean. Also visit the food
photography demos taking place on the stand on Fri at 17h30, Sat at 17h00 and

Village” where there will be high end photographic equipment for retail as well

retail outlets at the event and the show specials offered will be phenomenal,

Awards contest attracted a total of almost 4000 entries, it was a difficult
task narrowing this list down and the finals will be announced on Saturday the
11<sup>th</sup> July at 18h30 in the main presentation area of the show. There
will be a “cheese and wine” event afterwards on the PiX stand – tickets
available on the Chrome stand for R85.</span></p>
