Message-ID: <4AC4B143.3000904@ddpdurban.org.za> TO ALL SANGONeT USERS WORKSHOP: Logical Framework Approach ? Designing a Project that WORKS! Projects are designed to address problems faced by beneficiaries, with this in mind the Democracy Development Programme is pleased to announce that we have managed to contract a expert that has worked extensively within the NGO sector to design a workshop that addresses the project cycle of an organization using the logical framework approach. A properly planned project addressing the real problems of the beneficiaries cannot be achieved without an analysis of the existing situation. The LFA analyses the existing situation as a basis for later planning. Expected Outcome of the workshop * To empower existing organisations to analytically structure their focus in project planning. * To encompass the different elements in a process of change (problems, objectives, stakeholders, plan for implementation, etc) * To create an environment of participation/accountability/ownership. * To provide a structure for the dialogue between different stakeholders in a project. * Generate an Operational Plan, indicating costs and budgets of the project which will be used as the basis for drawing up a proposal. * Identify potential donors with similar interests Date: 16-18 November 2009 Time: 08h30 ? 16h00 (daily) Venue: Glenmore Pastoral Centre, Durban Cost: R800.00 per delegate Who will benefit from this workshop? Directors, Field workers, Project Managers/Co-ordinators, Administrators, Finance and Admin staff, Operation Managers Register before the 16th of October 2009 To register for this workshop, please complete the registration form.
